Benchmade does an excellent job with their M4. They also need recognition for the suberb factory edge that came on the knife. A little touch up on a fine ceramic and it was ready for this test. The Contego is a great knife that will hold its edge for a long time, but the jimping is painful. If you are going to be doing a lot of hard cutting then you will probably want to wear gloves.
